Raw materials for iron and steel

Ferroalloys are critical secondary additives for steelmaking as they are used for in applications such as removing sulfur oxides, oxygen, and other impurities and adding desired properties to achieve precise grade specifications. We produce special ferroalloys in form of nitride and manganese powders in Japan at our own plants, while calcium silicon is produced at our overseas subsidiaries. Through this production system, we aim to achieve both high quality and stable procurement.
