We manufacture "ferrite" in pulverized or granular form, a magnetic ceramic material for producing electronic parts that are essential for power-supply transformers, noise filters, deflection yokes, radio absorptive tiles and other such electronics.
We help support today?s electronic society by making deliveries of ferrite as a material to many makers of electronic parts, large and small, at home and abroad.

Specializing in Ferrite Material and Assuring High Quality and Services

We specialize in ferrite calcined powder as a material, not manufacturing ferrite cores. As a maker specializing in ferrite material, we are almost the sole supplier in Japan and also export to other countries. In the ferrite business, JMC has obtained a mill certification for quality from ISO (ISO 9001:2000).

Flexibility in Responding to Diverse Needs, Creativity and Development Capabilities

In ferrite manufacture, in order to finely differentiate between the many detailed specifications of individual customers, we have large facilities designed for various processes, which are capable of tonnage production of multiple grades.
In order to develop better products and technologies, we have various machines and equipment for analyzing chemical composition, powder characteristics, electromagnetic characteristics and other properties and a testing laboratory to conduct a small-scale trial manufacture of calcined powder.

In addition to the above items used in the manufacturing processes, we have pure-water equipment, waste-water treatment equipment, etc.

*Progress of the Ferrite Department

In 1988, we began the ferrite business at the Sakata Plant and gradually increased the number of systems to include the manganese system, nickel system, and magnesium system, to a total of more than 40 systems now being sold.
Since 2004, the Sales Department has been united with the Sakata Plant where manufacture and sale go hand in hand for better quality and services.
