Corporate information

We, JMC, in addition to the manufacture of ferroalloys, which are essential addition agents in steelmaking, as our core business, also manufacture hydrogen-occluded alloys as materials for nickel-hydrogen batteries and secondary batteries, while also conducting the development of various energy systems applying hydrogen-occluded alloys. Our line of business also includes: the manufacture and development of high-purity metal chromium using the ferroalloy-manufacturing technology, materials for soft-ferrite, ceramic products, agro-chemicals for soil melioration, etc.

We also undertake geothermal power generation based on our pioneering results in this area and investigations on soil structure and mechanics and an environmental business utilizing the technologies and basic frameworks thus far accumulated.

The JMC group will be serving and making a useful contribution to society through the businesses of JMC and also the undertakings of the member companies, thus being a responsible corporate citizen in its purpose, action and results.
