The Ceramics Department
We manufacture and sell ceramic products (silicon nitride: Si3N4). Forming is performed by the slip casting process, and for firing, either the normal-pressure method or the reaction method is selected depending on the intended use. We also manufacture composite-ceramic products to which BN (boron nitride) and other additives are added. By consulting with customers from the early product-design stages, we are constantly launching new products onto the market.

Silicon-nitride products
During the 30 years from the start of the manufacture of silicon nitride by CVD in 1976, we have established our own technology for producing raw materials, the multiple-burning technology, and the composite materials production technology. Since the Sales Department joined forces with the Sakata Plant, production sequences from raw materials to finished products have been integrated and intensified with sales operations.
Metal-chromium products
Development work, started in 1998, to make metal-chromium products using the slip casting process has resulted in the present marketing of members (nozzles, thermocouple guard pipes, etc.) that can serve under such rigorous conditions as boilers and municipal refuse incinerators.
